For help on how to follow a comic title,
I still have a Sony PDA that has a couple of games on it. Can’t sync with any computers, though. When battery dies, it’ll be the end of the device.
I made a nice pasta sauce this week using browned hamburger, onion, fresh mushrooms with canned mushroom soup and a jar of alfredo sauce. I cooked up some small penne for the sauce. Relatively quick meal.
The mushroom shards in cans of Cream of Mushroom soup have become so small that it’s hard to notice them any more. I always have to add canned or fresh mushrooms if I am having canned mushroom soup for lunch.
It Happened on Fifth Avenue played a few days ago on an over-the-air movie channel. It’s rare for one of her movies to play now-a-days.
Piano accordions are just one type of accordion. Button accordions are another style and they are very popular in Celtic, Tejano and other music traditions.
The strips from today and yesterday are not in the original Mouse Collection books (The Norm year 1: parts of 1996-1997). I’ll have to remember to go back and print these missing strips and place them into the books for completeness sake.
Different character, just looks similar to Miguel.
His hair color is the same as it was in the Sep 11 and 28 strips. We don’t usually see him with a colored background so his hair stands out more here.
No spoiler warning, since The Norm 1.0 is on it’s fourth Gocomics rerun (some of the previous runs have been removed from the site for some reason). At this point in the strip, Ford & Jan are a couple, but still single. Jan eventually decides that Norm is insane and a bad influence on Ford and she stops associating with Norm. Eventually, Ford & Jan get engaged and married and Ford & Jan move away. Ford returns occasionally for a few strips and comes back to be Norm’s best man (in the 12 Steps to Marriage magazine). Ford reappeared as a regular character in Norm 2.0, divorced.
Wifi for home use didn’t exist back in 1996 (when today’s strip came out). A later Norm 1.0 strip might have talked about routers (I don’t remember, at this point) but, if one did, it won’t show up here for many years.
