Yep — that’s the problem with those cryptocurrencies: if you forget what your encryption code is then it doesn’t matter how much money you have in the currency: it can’t reached (…unless you’ve hacked the currency exchange and raided their “vaults”…).
This could be just like the QuadrigaCX, the Canadian crypto exchange. It’s founder just died and he was the only one who knew the encryption code for one segment so $190 million dollars are currently lost to those who kept their cryptocurrency in the exchange.
