Dang, that just makes too much sense. .I really like your suggestion anyway. That’s how I do my health insurance. Thanks to President Obama and the PPACA.

“speaking of shocking things as so many people are these days”.I can’t help but think of Cole Porter’s song “Anything Goes.” If we listed all the disconcerting things, so-called outrages to public decency, that have occurred over the years and added them as refrains to that song – it would be Wagnerian-opera length by now.

“….and they don’t have sex on sunday……” ??#But isn’t that a form of, you know: (soto voce) Birth Control? Don’t want to say that phrase too loud while shopping or I might get escorted out of Hobby Lobby by the “moral police”.

What ever happened to “Freedom of Conscience”? I believe that is what the first few words of the 1st Amendment are really all about, not just ""Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" but the right to follow one’s own conscience and not be told by other what one should or must believe! That should apply to corporations as well. After all, corporations, big and small, are min-governments in and of themselves in the way they try to control their employees’ behaviors, especially moral behaviors such as birth control or even abortion. Of course corporations are not morally obligated to pay for any procedure that they consider morally wrong, but have no say otherwise.

Maybe someone can explain this to me: Isn’t one of the reasons a corporation is limited liabilty for shareholders? I researched reasons to form a corporation and this is a partial quote regarding limited liability:

“Legally, corporations are separate entities from those who own them. Corporations will pay their own taxes, can own property, enter contracts, sue and be sued independently of those who own them and are responsible for their own debts and actions.”

Since a corporation is a seperate entity from the individuals who own them, by what right to those said individuals now get to dictate their personal beliefs onto said corporation?

Hobbylobby should have dropped health care for its employees.

Obama care will give America the same level of care given to veterans.

Most of the non-veteran leftist posters on this page would like that.

The style of this cartoon certainly reminded me of James Thurber. The layout, the profiles, the postures of the crowd. Wow! thanks Mr. Oliphant.
