Y’know? Knute kinda looks like “Punk Rock”, from that show “Hero Hight”, on the “Kids Super Power Hour”, as shown here ….. – Knute dug it when they had writing assignments, so he could practice his “crooked letters”, and those “counting” thingys…His favorite letter was Pickle….

Knute in the past still has that annoying grin; he even looks ridiculous in that get-up compared to his get-up in the present.

I have to admit, I feel like I am slogging through mud here…I am so looking forward to Greg’s being able to come up with current events such as high school graduation once he is fully recovered (which sounds like he already is). In the meantime, however, I sort of get a giggle…real sort of…about this week’s “arc.” This has given me a lot of time to visit other strips, too, such as Calvin and Hobbes where Calvin thinks a burglar stole his tiger friend, Hobbes. And, Brdshtt, I guess I’ve already filled out your form LOL!

Guess I’ll wander around the Editorial Cartoons for awhile, and, as Samuel Pepys (1633-1703) once said, “And so to bed.” ’Nite all… ;)

We had a teacher, orchestra, who started teaching with us and retired when we graduated. We knew his family, but we didn’t know he had been taking classes, too.

He became a counselor and lost his life to leukemia while we were in college.

Thank you Mr.Lewis for teaching us to play instruments and to live.

ORM & Hthe D: Baseball Cap Info -*Last week, to keep my hair down in the wind, I put on a baseball cap for the first time this year. It blew off as soon as I stepped outside. Put it on & caught it as it again flew off. Wised up, put in on BACKWARDS, and it stayed on for the next hour!*Lesson learned: wearing a cap backwards may be the smart thing to do, wind-wise. However, wearing a cap indoors is impolite whether it’s bill forward or bill back.

-when I was in grade school-Back there in the dinosaur days when I was in grade school, we were not only required to give valentines to all our classmates if we brought them in, but we were not allowed to give anything to the teacher. At the end of each year, we could give the teacher a small, ‘nonpersonal’ gift. Thus was born the ‘apple for the teacher’….

In H.S. I took a pop quiz on a rolling paper once. The teacher rolled her eyes, told me next time to ask for a sheet of real paper, took out a loupe and graded it. I aced the quiz, of course.

Yeah.. when Mr. Anderson planted the “evidence”, either he really needs some daily affirmations, or he must really subscribe to the maxim “repeat something often enough and everyone will believe it” (except maybe the mirror, Lol!)

In looking at their “tracks”, I would conclude that this was done “accidentally on purpose”. A few other strips have similar posts by this same person. A bit “Manson like”, almost. As much as we go on about “incoherence” of certain posts here, it’s not anywhere near this sort.

Maybe. So was the “sheet rock” comment on “Half Full”. But yet not. They start off one way, then “stray off” a bit. But look at “Thatababy” or “Dude And Dude”.

Presently: related to the present, at the present time. In common usage as such since the 1400s.If the meaning in common usage for some 600 years does not agree with your grammar book, you might consider buying a newer book..Or you could stick to your guns and declare the rest of the world out of step.right, right, right left right (the way it orta be)

So, it has come time to put the old “professor” out to pasture. It’s nice of the “kids” to do such a thing, but it makes for some rather dull reading. This seems to be in line with the equally mundane Prom Night (non)-events. I don’t have the time to read every posting on this site, but from what I have seen, there are other readers who, like myself, had higher expectations of the depiction of the teenage experience.
