Just what Calvin needed! He seems so lethargic, lately.

Caffeine, sugar and chocolate. What more could a kid want?

I guess Calvin’s mom bought him this cereal to “keep him quiet”.It’s not working.

“Allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery.”As a kid, I could never understand why it took up to two months to deliver something.

Do you remember Bazooka bubblegum and all the cool stuff you could order off the little scrap of paper wrap?? LOVED that stuff!

This was actually already out of date when it first ran. Breakfast cereals no longer trumpeted the word ‘sugar’ in their names. Cartoonists writing kid characters sometimes are writing their own childhoods- already a generation past. It’s tough to avoid.

I think you’ll get “buzzed” enough from the Chocolate Covered Sugar Bomb, Calvin. Then again, if you order the Buzzy toy, you can drive your folks crazy………………………

“Part of this nutritious breakfast.” Also shown are toast, eggs and a glass of OJ. The nutrition comes from everything else other than the cereal but guess which is the only part the kids eat?

It looks like Calvin’s talking with his mouth full:p Clearly, the author created parents that didn’t teach their children manners or respect.

I think we’ve finally found out what makes Calvin hyperactive.

Pop-Tarts in England have a sticker over the nutritional information on the box because they aren’t nutritional enough.

Many of theses cereals are loaded with tons of sugar. As a kid I loved them. Would not go anywhere near them now..

And from Charles Atlas, you could also order the cure for having sand kicked in your face and the muscular guy walking off with your girl.

For some reason, I’d totally forgotten about getting toys in cereal boxes while young. Great memories.
