I believe Roman trials went something like this:“He who has the most witnesses wins.”Oh, and torture was allowed.

Bloody Romans were everywhere! Shouldn’t be surprised if one daysoon archaeologists announce the finding of Roman ruins at NovumEboracum [New York].

The artwork of the main panel makes the place look cozy…..I wouldn’t mind living there….Oooo….And I really like how the smoke from the fire rises into the clouds of heaven…But what does Duncan’s last statement mean? I don’t get it….Barking and growling are better?

Oh my history in the making. What would the Romans want with a simple nobody? He is just an average Joe.

He really is a witch. He can talk to his dog, and can understand what his dog says in return. I love talking to my dog, but just just looks at me funny.

Yeah, Varnes. It’s not smart to taunt the Romans. And you can do it much more specifically if you can talk rather than bark or growl. Erebrannor, I did notice that Wiley’s wolves look like bears. Had fun trying to make them into proper wolves in my mind, esp. the rightmost one in the second panel. They seem to have longer muzzles, proportionately, than do the bears.

As Romans they should know that any man favored by wolves is a man favored by the Gods!
