Uh… he going to have to buy her a new leash.

“Cutting The Red Tape”….

He was taking a short cut.

The leash was blocking the sidewalk. Was he supposed to walk into traffic? Why didn’t the owner stand by the tree, with her dog, giving him room to walk?

BTW, I am a dog owner/lover, and laughed my a$$ off at the joke.

I would like to see extending dog leads banned. The number of times a dog has wrapped around my ankles and almost tripped me up, is appalling.

The dog still holding up his leg, cute.But the guy would have to stoop to cut the leash. At that rate he could have stepped over it. Yes, I’m spoiling it by being technical.

Composer Wallingford Riegger, if I remember correctly, died from injuries sustained from tripping over a dog leash.

Ya gotta like the stunned look on the dog’s face.

Old adage: When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

How often I have wanted to do this.

As Jack Benny would have said, “Now cut that out”.

Looks like she’ll have to get a new leash on life.

I never had a leashed animal, but it seems the etiquette should be similar to using a basket in a supermarket aisle; you make every attempt to never block the way of others by standing on the opposite side to your cart.

The guy had better start running – with or without – his scissors/
