These are not normal Topsiders, if they can “move on” at will.

I think once they confront whatever it is she’s hiding from, she’ll probably slowly return back to her old ways (or maybe it’ll cause her to snap out of it. It depends I assume on what it is that brings her back). Wally won’t kill the Topsiders, and I don’t think Holly’s so far gone that she’d try to physically do it herself…yet. Watch her try and shoot them on the next update now that I’ve said that.

An idle thought, Might we know one of these topsiders, perhaps named Kowalski? Might explain why they were waiting for Wally to show. It’s a stretch, but we don’t know the age or whereabouts of Linda’s son. I always assumed he was a youngster, but did we have any clue about him?

“Let’s just move on” sounds like they are not as helpless as they might seem. And by extension, they may not be what we think they appear to be either.

Now is the time to nominate Endtown for an 2014 Eisner award, in the category of Best Digital Comic.To quote:“The best digital comic category is open to any new, professionally produced long-form original comics work posted online in 2013. Webcomics must have a unique domain name or be part of a larger comics community to be considered. The work must be online-exclusive for a significant period prior to being collected in print form. The URL and any necessary access information should be emailed to Eisner Awards administrator Jackie Estrada: jackie@comic-con.org.”Now, the Eisner winners are determined by a small, select panel of judges who are respected in the field. The decision is made on the work’s quality, which means essentially that the winner will be the best comic, not just the one with the widest circulation. Myself, I truly believe Endtown is of such quality in art, writing, concept and body of work that it could rank as one of the best web comics, if not the best. I truly believe Aaron Neathery’s Endtown can win an Eisner.Please note that Best Digital Comic applies to long-form stories and not just individual daily strips. I do not intend Doc Rat to be nominated, even though it does contain a certain number of long-form stories in amongst the individual strips. Endtown has a greater chance of winning, and I do not want to distract the vote. Nominations are open now, and they close on March 17th. Now is the time for as many fans as possible to e-mail Jackie Estrada (jackie@comic-con.org) and explain why Endtown should be considered worthy of being on the short list for this award. 2014 is the year for Endtown to break very, very big.

Both of the females have the shorter fuses. Both of the males are urging patience. Maybe they can double-date and hook each other up.

Not much to say yet, still wondering if the segue to the new arc was Holly’s dream, and we may get some backstory. It does seem odd that they think they can just leave. Also they don’t seem bothered by the idea that Wally and Holly might kill them, or that they’re tied up. What gives? (Tune in tomorrow, I guess.)

Ah, the irony of fighting over a hill made from the ashes of the entire world. Maybe these topsiders want to make the world better, instead of fighting over what’s left.

It looks like they don’t need antennae for short range radio communication.

This makes me side with Holly even more. Too many variables.

I still think it’s a couple who want to be together closer than the biosuits allow.

Going back in the story a ways, could this finally be something that actually is for the greater good?

There are a lot of ways one can interpret what we’ve seen. They could be planted there by their Topside superiors in an attempt to locate the more well hidden colonies like Endtown. They could be dissenters who either left or were banished from Topside society. They could even be lovers, for all we know. If there’s one thing I do know, its that time and Aaron will tell.

If you want to deal with them without death, just stun them unconscious again and open the suits. As full mutants then they can’t go back to base to rat you out.

These Topsiders are plainly NOT human!!

Has anyone noticed. I think Wally thinks they are still knocked out but they are communicating with each other. Wally does not know they are NOT unconscious.So either they are really whispering, have short range comm links lacking the tall antenna, or can telepath with each other.Sarah is confident sounding they can just leave even with Wally holding a weapon.Isn’t it strange only her name Sarah is mentioned so far. Our author never gives names without reasons. His is conspicuously missing.

I used to have a t-shirt with the Marx/Lennon album cover. I used to get funny looks. Come to think if it, I still do.

Maybe it wasn’t the shirt?
