Star Wars was meant for Huge Screen Movie Theaters,Not your piddly little 60 inch TV screen.

You should have asked those of us who lived then; we could have told you the seventies blew.

Heck, I made the mistake of reading the BOOK first. As God is my witness, I damn near ruined my experience of Star Wars on the big screen, because I knew every plot hole and realized how gawdawful the dialogue was. No, in this case the book was NOT better than the movie…

How about a TV that automatically air brushes everything to make it look better? I bet that would get a lot of sales!

I realized yesterday that I notice no difference with HD. In fact, I rarely notice a difference with 3D anymore. Not that I think to look for it. I must be a story man.

The 70s only blew if you don’t compare them to the 60s.

I didn’t say the book came first; I said I read it first. I know it was a movie tie-in, but it was credited to George Lucas, and he gets the blame! The story is essentially identical except for a few extra pieces around his friends on Tattooine, one of whom is a pilot with him.
