Poor kid is still traumatized from being rescued by one of the Village People

Why is Gil circling behind the police officer? Or maybe the officer turned his back on Gil.

Me thinks it would be wise to get Johns guardians involved at this point opposed to having Gil and Mimi teaching/employing him to make umbrella drinks whenever the mood hits them, usually after missing the playdowns.

I don’t think it’s trauma at all. I think his vocal cords were frozen and remain unusable.

Any kid could be traumatized being rescued by Thomas Magnum.

How does Gil know he hasn’t spoken since then? That was all in the article that Mimi found?

Yeah, good idea. It’s not like Gil has any KIDS OF HIS OWN THAT HE HAS TO WORRY ABOUT.

I’m sorry Gil. This isn’t 1950. We’re charging him with obstruction and six other counts. Be happy I didn’t shoot him.

I THOUGHT it seemed strange when Mom and Dad told us they were moving to Hong Kong and couldn’t take us. It’s all starting to make sense.

Lucky John had a good supply of cigarettes to puff on while he waited. And thank good the rescue crew were able to salvage the family ice chest in P2.

Okay guys, time to get serious here….we have a real problem on our hands. It’s obvious that looking at pictures of Jami and looking at John P., Thorpe is seeing his son. He won’t be able to let this go until John talks. Hopefully, the first words out of John’s mouth aren’t “Dad”. Then what? Mimi will think that Gil had an affair. In her hurt state, she’ll lash out at Gil and admit that she’s been with the poolboy. Milford will never be the same. We must prevent this from happening!!!

Now if Big John had been found by a mysterious peacock, then these storylines would begin to make sense.

OK, we’ll let him go, but let’s Taze him a few more times first, to try to jump-start his vocal cords.

Your Gil freakin’ Thorp. You don’t ask permission. You tell the cop you’re taking the kid home.

P3: John hasn’t said a word since. Can I just take him home?

Interpretation: Since he can’t talk, he won’t be able to tell the authorities what I do to boys and young men at my house. Chief, this is my ideal situation.

In all reality, if Gil was allowed to take John home and tried any funny stuff with him under the guise of teaching him wrestling holds, Big John would tear Gil limb from limb and then go over to Angies to play charades with her and Tip.
