The charges against the authenticity of Anne Frank’s diary have come from avowedly antisemitic writers and Neo-nazi groups, not from reputable sources.

Many legal battles have been fought over the subject….Contemporary witnesses, forensic evidence and expert testimony have led, in every case, to the courts upholding its provenance and veracity.In fact, it’s against the law in Denmark to make any more such frivolous claims.

Please don’t disparage a true heroine without getting some facts first.

Susan, the first time I heard that line was in a Yooper’s song about going to watch the Brew Crew in Wisconsin….It’s chock full of dairy air, trust me on this,,,,Hey why do they use artificial turf in Wisconsin football games? Keeps the cheerleaders from grazing after the game…..I know,… I know….

And as far as the Ann Frank thing, well,things like that just make my blood boil. Susan’s correct. Normal people resent the implication that it isn’t real…Susan is well informed about a lot of things…I know her a bit. She’s one of the smartest people I’ve run into in a while……..If she says it’s so, good luck proving her wrong….

There is a new encryption for diaries to make you forget the contents if it gets past your eyes.

Most days I zip down through the comments, get my chuckles and move along. Today, however, was a slow, careful, serious and thoughtful read.

Thank you Susan for your input. We all need to be reminded of the seriousness of our human history. And that it’s memory never dies nor becomes discounted.

Holocaust deniers are helped by a certain ex-President who claimed to be in on the liberation of one of the death camps when he never left the country, but spent the war in his Bel Aire mansion commuting to Fort Roach. He never even made a war bond tour – Carole Lombard got killed coming back from one. I have seen even Republicans belly-laughing over his acting in “The Japanese Zero”.
