I don’t think Alix is purposely “messing with her sister’s mind”, I believe (from the look on her face) she’s genuinely excited about the possibilities of what might be in the river. Holly’s just like most teenage girls, fussy & easily freaked out by the gross & groady stuff (& the possibility of some creature swimming against her calf as she’s standing there).

When I see a crystal clear lake or river I wonder what poisons are in the water preventing anything from living there!
