Bull sharks have been caught in the Mississippi as far north as Alton, Illinois. There have been claimed sighting as far north as LaCrosse, WI.

I have 2 grandsons (cousins) that are 11 now and 1 of them was born talking and has not stopped long enough for a good breath since, and 1 that seldom talks and when he does it is so soft you really have to listen closely.

She’s going to be a fill professor! Already knows how to use grad students!

Max can’t talk?

Hee hee hee!

Has anyone noticed that it’s August? 11 months is a long time to wait for the “Gotta Love August” panels. They make me forget that pretty soon the air will chill and the leaves will fall.

My five year old brother talks, not a lot, but the problem remains that nobody can understand him.

I wanna be like Alix !!

I thought Max was whispering, not that he couldn’t talk.

My daughter went out into the creek “the Onion River” by her property and caught a carp. (They are trash, invasive fish.) When she returned to the creek, another carp let out a loud, squealing noise. After that, all the carp made themselves scarce for awhile.

Looks like Alix and Max are plotting to scare the daylights out of Holly again.

These children don’t age in real time. Holly has been in middle school for as long as I can remember. When Max was introduced he was a babe in arms, but eventually walked and went through the terrible twos. His just a little older than that now.

Such wonderful imaginations…Holly should know to be prepared when Alix and Max start grinning at her!
