Stone Soup by Jan Eliot Alix: Max, maybe we should explore a RIVER today! Alix: Freshwater doesn't have as many exotic species...but with lower visibility, you never know WHAT might jump out and surprise you! Alix: ? Alix: Sturgeon?! Right! They can grow to 20 feet, but they're harmless. Alix: There IS the Bull Shark, which is 9 feet long and has adapted to freshwater!! They've been spotted in the Mississippi - as far north as Kentucky! Alix: Oh, good idea. Alix: We'll send Holly in first. Holly: ? Max: Tasty!
I have 2 grandsons (cousins) that are 11 now and 1 of them was born talking and has not stopped long enough for a good breath since, and 1 that seldom talks and when he does it is so soft you really have to listen closely.
