I hate to say it but she played the whole thing totally wrong. First she could’ve waited til after office hours to get the lemonade. Why couldn’t they settle for water? Or make ice tea? Or have lemon juice on hand to make it? Then why couldn’t Evie go get it if they had to have store bought? Then when she did run into that jerk, as some of you have pointed out she ought to have coughed and headed for the OTC medicine aisle. Val isn’t usually so stupid.
