Yes, Best to stay away from negative thoughts. Things are looking good in general and I think that unless my lover decides to retire we will be seeing each other less. I may make 1 trip per year after my diet is over. I would be happier with him, but not with his weather (and he can’t believe he’d like Phoenix). I have too much invested in my house here (and SURE, it will be over 100 this afternoon, but 74F now is lovely and I hear mockingbirds singing outside in my garden and the water flowing in the waterfall, lots of roses in bloom. And one month a year we can still have lots of passion every night (and I’m sure he has others to fill in).

I once thought about thinking thoughts that needed to be thought out but thinking thoughts about thoughtful thinking is a thankless thoughtless job….I think.

Sounds like everyone is joining Gloria in a nice warm mellow mood; we just need Red to pick some music for it.

Actually, today is my cardio so I’ll be trolling Utube for some Rock and Roll to dance to ;-D

beviek:Read your post. Thanks.Right now its pretty local. We are all on standby if needed.Right now I have the Emergency Operations Center EOC up and running. Right now just monitoring what is needed now.I read the reports and forward them to the who it concerns. So far the death count is six and still some missing. They are expanding searches into fields and such. Those things just suck you up and spit you out almost anywhere. These poor folks had no chance. None had shelters. There was no community shelter like some communities have around here. They took shelter in the house and the house exploded. The six so far were still in their houses.

@Shika, I second that. But the damage does not seem to be quite so widespread as the media indicates; I have family in Ft Worth who have seen none. Nature does really wild things. My man asks me why I chose this area and it was 1) to never see snow and ice again and 2) to not exchange for other types of horrid weather related disasters and 3) to have lots of flowers, birds and sunshine.

Happy’s signpost and that Lena Horne cut of Bev’s say it just like I mean it (and he’s not that much younger than I – and neither of us are really all that rich, just not really lacking). Neither of us really wants to MOVE across the country and the song says it all. This is the one that I recorded and sent him a video of myself singing: wish somebody would show me the code to do this correctly
