    It’s…..JANE…..running away from her Nairobi creditors in her newest mode of transportation! Only 4 horsepower so not all that fast. Or, maybe it’s Kirk Douglas aka Spartacus being chased by the Romans! It could also be Buster Crabbe aka Flash Gordon coming to give Tarzan a lift back to wherever…. These story-writers sure know how to throw we readers into time/space continuums! :)> IAmSpartacusAGowa!!

    I’m pretty sure that Burroughs himself mined the “lost colony” bit a few times. Once with Romans and once with Crusaders. And those may not have been the only times.
