Good morning clan! It’s a big day because I will be getting my booster shot at 10:00 today. If I go quiet for a couple of days, you’ll know I got kicked to the curb again!

I used scissors to get a start on peeling my banana (always packed my own lunch) and also used a pen to stir my coffee if I forgot to do it in break area.

All of those sounds gross. I’m sure I’ve been creative at some point, but I’d rather bite melon than use dirty scissors on it. I used to keep a set of utensils in my desk to use as needed. If anything, most restaurants give too many utensils these days. I have to tell them “please no utensils” because there’s no need to add waste to the world.

When my sister and I visited my father in the hospital, we snuck in some mac and cheese with us, but forgot a fork. My father took some of the aluminum foil from the plate, folded it into a fork, and happily munched his way through his food!

Their office needs to get some utensils. All of that sounds unsanitary.

Ah yes. The civilized life of the white collar crowd. Just keep the computers clean and you’ll be fine. …savages.

I’ve used my fingers for all those scenarios. Sometimes I throw caution to the wind and don’t even wash my hands!

The most I do is stir my watered-down drinks, like tea and the occasional soft drink, with my ink pen. Everything that Cathy and her co-workers talked about is just plain disgusting and unsanitary-sounding to me! :-P
