Just tell your bosses you didn’t turn in your report because you were busy getting stoned. They’ll understand.

Dr. A: “EUREKA! I’ve synthesized an ultra-potent analog to THC!”Dr. B: “That’s genius! We’ll make millions! How did you do it?”Dr. A: “Uh… I can’t remember. I think I wrote it down somewhere, though…”Dr. B: “We’ve got to find those notes. Otherwise, how can we do it again?”Dr. A: “Do what again?”Dr. B: “Synthesize THC!”Dr. A: “Dude, that’s an AWESOME idea! Somebody should TOTALLY do that! They’d make millions!

Dr. B: “You’ve been staring at that formula on the board for hours. It’s a pretty tough one, eh?”Dr. A: “Have you ever thought about numbers? I mean, REALLY thought about numbers? What ARE they? It’s like they don’t even exist. I mean, sure, you can have three things, but can you ever have a ‘Three’? Like, maybe there’s a box or a cave out there somewhere where some dragon guards the ultimate essence of Three-ness, but you could get in a spaceship and travel all over the universe and you’d never, ever find it. That’s wild.”
