I was thinking the same thing.

The scientists who tried to develop Cold Fusion missed the obvious – all they needed to do was stack up enough Christmas fruit cake until it reaches critical mass.

My dad used to buy Safe-T Pops, crush them with a hammer, remove the handle, then place cookie dough around them so that the hard candy pools around in such a way that when baked they make decorated cookies that look like stained glass. It’s been a while so I don’t know the exact recipe.
