To my mom, a Lt. in the Army Nurses Corp during WW2, my hubby who was in the 82nd Airborne, my old boss (retied Colonel) who served in WW2, Korea and Viet Nam, and all our servicemen and women who don’t get the credit they deserve.
to my dad, who missed the first weeks of my life because of the Cuban Missile crisis; my uncle who flew refueling missions in Man; my uncle who served at SAC; my father-in-law for WWII Alaska; and my brother for his classified service in Guam. Army – Air Force – Marines. Proud of them and all others.
Thank you, America. I accept your thanks and offer them to all my comrades in arms. Seems like every generation has its war. Mine was Viet Nam. Dad’s was WWII and Korea. My nephews have done multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. My guess is it will never stop because mankind will never change.
A heart felt thank you to all vets and to those who are currently serving. Also, to all families who lent their sons and daughters to our great country and now have only pictures and memories, like ours. Thank you all.
A military brat here — I just want to say a great big THANK YOU to ALL veterans of ALL wars, police actions or whatever you want to call them. Husband is a Marine and just served 4 tours in Iraq as a heavy haul truck driver. Bless everyone of you and your families!! THANK YOU!!!
Any reason for the gray in the rest of this comic? Oh yes, the gray of this economy which was cause by the last administration in 2008 and being blamed by the present-day administration in 2012.
Police Action, Conflict … I don’t care what they call it, if they are shooting at you, it is a WAR! Thanks to all the vet’s & Servicemen and women out there. We would not be here if not for your sacrifices.

That’s what I told my dad. He said he saw a lot more soldiers there than cops.

Well, there are two types of comments above; wonderful eye-wetting tributes and garbage about seat belts.
Honor and thanks to all veterans!
