Most republicans don’t want abortion legal for any reason, even if the pregnancy seriously endangers the life of woman and foetus.

The public, as opposed to politically engineered legislatures, prefer keeping human rights, it seems.

I imagine our state legislature here in Kansas regrets letting the people actually have a vote as the GOP knows what is truly best for us, the people of Indiana, majority is Pro Choice, were not given that option. Ya know how the GOP told us the Muslims and the Commies were coming to take away our democracy and all the while….it was just them. Surprise.

Meanwhile, in Indiana, they poisoned that flower and salted the earth.

Missouri’s legislature will never let the general population have a vote on keeping abortion legal in the state. This is because they know that the majority isn’t on their side. Authoritarianism is already here in many states.

And move as far away from Indiana as it’s possible to get!

This issue will be on many states ballots, including mine! With the demented GOP in Ohio, including Vance and the acid mouth, Jim Jordan, I’m sure there will be a kerfuffle…..

And before the Türd Reich pseudo-christian Nazis try to winge, this is not – and never has been – about just abortions. What is has always been about is the right to let women have control over their own bodies – a right even corpses are more entitled to have. It has always been about pro-choice, the right for each woman to decide for herself, by herself, and to be free from being coerced by any one, pro or against doing what she wants to do with her own body!

Believe in whatever God y’all choose. You have that right. Y’all do not and I repeat, you do NOT, have the right to force your religion, any religion onto others.

This nation was never, ever meant to be a theocracy. The “christian” “conservatives” (and yet again I’ll remind y’all that they are neither one of those things, and never have been) are just trying to force their views onto each and every part of everyone else’s lives. Y’all would go batshite crazy if the Taliban tried that here in the USofA.

Name one thing that makes them any different. Go ahead and try. And we’ll rip y’all to shreds showing how Y’all Qaeda and Howdy Arabia are exactly, 100% the same to those that y’all went to war over. 100% exactly the same.

It seems most people in most states don’t like laws outlawing abortion, yet they put people who make such restrictive laws back in power… It’s a lot like saying ‘I don’t like what he stands for, so I guess I’ll vote for him’…

On a different topic, I gave this comic a like because it was about Kansas, yet did not reference the Wizard of Oz in any way. Thank you for being both relevant and different from the other editorialists, Clay.

To protect our body, we need to end laws that stop us from using our bodies our way. Antidrug and sex laws do that. We will never be free unless those are wiped away.

I think the voters recognized that this was about keeping a say/choice in women’s reproductive rights; and I thank them.
