Exactly We need a singed confession that specifically says that Politics was the cause of the attack before we can say that Trumps “The Enemy of the People” rhetoric is a contributor to general violence against the Press. “Knock the Crap out of him” only suggest violence against whomever the HIM was in Trumps statement. It does not suggest violence against any other protest that may have been present.
Does the fact that Jarrod Ramos had a specific grievance with the Capital Gazette make his actions any less an attack on the press?
Do you think the journalists who were killed or injured yesterday were targeted because of their specific transgressions against the shooter, or were they just in the wrong newsroom at the wrong time?
People were targeted and killed by a gunman yesterday for being journalists. That’s all this image reflects. And as far as I’m concerned, an attack on ONE of us is an attack on ALL of us.
Milo Yiannopoulos said he was only trolling journalists when he told two of them, “I can’t wait for the vigilante squads to start gunning journalists down on sight.” This was two days before the Thursday shooting. Rants like those by Andylit and Lil ol me miss the mark with their own personal biases.
So I observe the right-wingers here are all up in arms at the idea that #45 might have anything to do with this.
I did NOT observe them objecting to the idea that reporters should be shot.
I did NOT see them objecting to guns being readily available to the mentally ill.
I did NOT see them commenting on Milo Yiannopolis’ statement about killing the press.
I did NOT see them objecting when Trump called reporters “Enemies of the American people” nor when he suggested he, despite being a public figure, should be allowed to sue the press or shut it down.

This is how the Republicans view journalist, kids in schools, black people and those women who just don’t know their place. It is why they are fighting so hard to get more guns into the public.
Please explain that difference to us. And explain to us why local government in liberal jurisdictions like Seattle and Berkley allow these liberal thugs to run amok.
While you’re at it, explain BLM and OWS. Tell us why you think they are not “liberal.”
