Shauna is good. She can speak the nerd’s language. The girl has already show a little change of mind and, for a moment, is become adorable.

I like “gender-swap Death Note,” but “hippie Nancy Drew” is also a good one.

Blossom as Eunice the Unreachable? Certainly she is not being compared to the Unshakable Blab!

Remember that Shauna recruited the Dungeons & Dragons kids (including Blossom) for help with a previous mystery. She’s good at getting into geeks’ heads.

She is a wily one. Blossom is already hooked otherwise Shauna would be a greasy spot on the sidewalk.

Also, “Sling your hook.” I love learning British expressions.

What is it with this girl? It’s not like anyone from the Mystery gang personally affronted her or did her injury (none that I recall, at least). Was this because Charlotte tried to “lure” away one of her guild mates? Cause as I recall she won that battle, much to that poor lad’s ill-fortune.

I love the action drawings today. Also the next to last panel, Blossom’s reaction to the vision of being the baddie who joins the X-Men.

The term sling your hook is polite way of telling someone to go away. This term has a nautical origin. Hook was a name given to the ship’s anchor, and the sling was the cradle that housed the anchor. Therefore, to sling your hook meant to lift anchor, stow it and sail away.

I love John’s throw-away nuttiness, like Iceman having a carrot for a nose in this reality!
