Lights out

Husband and I share an office (middle sized bedroom of 3 in our house). Our desks face each other. Sometimes he is writing or doing work and I hate that my work is so much harder and more time consuming – but it is convenient when one of us is writing or otherwise working and needs a consultation on what has been written.

Ummmmm….Adam? Can’t classify yourself as a writer unless you …… you know, write something?

He feels threatened already, he caves very early on!!

What genre of literature does Laura write? Adult fiction? horror stories? children’s books? household hints?

Envy is the destroyer of the mind.

Adam, why doncha just go to Andre’s to “work”? There’ll only be that bad-tempered old biddy in the next booth to bug you.

Looks like she does about 140 “means” a minute.

Remember, quality over quantity…

since when has Laura been a writer? I thought she worked at a bookstore?

This happened in school. The worst part was the teacher yelling at the class everyone else should work as hard as I did.

Adam has a client to satisfy. Laura is truly working for herself. Speaking of a client, I’d better get back to work.

Whatever it is, she leaves Adam in the dust!!!

Jealousy rears its ugly head!

He’s not a fast writer.

He’s not a slow writer.

He’s a half-fast writer

She’s starting off slow, we haven’t heard the tappity taps yet.

Don’t forget to change Adam’s diaper and remind him not to forget to breathe.

I find it helps to be happy for the success of others.. well I try! LOL
