Oye sure and wouldn’t that come under the heading of Animal Cruelty? You’ll be having the ASPCA on you, your Royal Finkness.

Yo, Fink. That’s why the guillotine was invented. Efficiency. Certainty. Maybe a little too much gore for the public though. And you don’t get a long time to jeer the victim.

if he only put that much thought into the affairs of the kingdom, they probably wouldn’t need so many executions

If this were done under the current administration, the crocs would be gone due to budget cuts; the rope would break, ditto; the gibbet would look like a cats-in-the-cradle…Oh, never mind. If this were the current administration that poor schnook would have nothing to worry about. He’d have died of old age by the time they got done arguing over who was going to pay for the execution.

    Belt and suspenders
    backups are thoughtful and praiseworthy
it always made me wonder if a 300’ drop to a hard surface wouldn’t be better, cheaper, more reliable and you could seat the people who would like to watch in the splatter zone.
