I was already going to say that Pigs eat anything. If you stop moving in their pen, they start nibbling straight away.

Murdering and eating animals is sick and depraved.
Vegetarians and Vegans rule!

If people start eating horses, where will we get our glue and dogfood?

Horse tastes not that bad. There are not fattened like pigs, chicken or turkey. Normally their meat is from higher quality, because they are not full of stereoids (except if they were racing horses ;) ). There are some countries where horse is highly valued.

I agree. I’d rather murder and eat vegans.

In Portugal we ate horse meat when my mother was advised to consume more iron while recovering from a severe illness. And more broccoli. And liver (beef, chicken & horse). Great for obtaining iron. Not that my siblings and I were told at the time what we were eating. It came up in conversation just this week.
meh.

The horse might get more sympathy if he talks to a dog or cat.

A jockey had a very impressive record of winning races, even coming from far behind to win. Upon his retirement, a reporter asks him; “A lot of the tapes of your rides show you leaning forward and saying something to the horse that seems to make him win. Could you tell us what it was?”
The jockey smiles, and says: “I told them a little poem; Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, Horses that lose, are Made into Glue!”
“It never failed!”

@Clark Kent Meat is murder! Quick eat the evidence.
Vegans and vegetarians, it is who is for dinner.
Evolution in reverse.

That would be Chicago or Detroit police officers.

One of the problems is that they are in fact eating old race horses (not the high money horses, of course), along with others. One report came out that the meds in horses can be worse than those of “food” animals. Otherwise, I don’t really care.

Is this an insult to the French? They eat horsemeat by the trainload.
