Believe me, we’re quite happy with him, given the alternatives the Looney Party has offered…

So Harley – you slept through 2000-2008 when a Pez ignored CIA warnings & read My Pet Goat while Bin Laden attacked the US. Then wasted the victory in Afghanistan so he could start an illegal war in Iraq – that he couldn’t win. He then screwed up the economy & ended up having to bail out the banks to prevent a worse debacle – oh and he took the surplus Clinton had set up & turned it into the largest deficit in US history

Then he left it to the black guy to clean up while your buddies in Congress do everything they can to prevent him from succeeding. And in doing so they prevent America from succeeding.

You’re being unfair to Harley. He doesn’t just hate Obama. He hates Bush too. In fact, he hates everybody. He’s very egalitarian in that way.

Harley is in fine form today. He’s well representing both the kind of naked partisanship the cartoon is talking about and the fact free Obama hatred of a typical Fox News viewer. Well done, Harley!

That’s right, HE worked with the Republicans and Newt, who tried not to work with him, and shut down the government twice. Worked out well for Newt didn’t it? Just remember the Tea Party sign: Keep your government hands of my Medicare! They’ll follow Boehner right off the cliff and complain about what happened!

Harleyquinn: Double the welfare rolls? Hardly anything close, but it wouldn’t be difficult – just add on half or so of those need-qualified but not currently covered. That would still leave a bunch more qualified but not covered. Or you can do like the totalitarians and let them die. Of course, most of them are the ones the millionaires stole their millions from and losing them would mean no more millions, but they don’t believe in cause and effect, much less in morality.

the liberal agenda is to demean, debase and degrade the opposition.

You will hear a lot of that during this speech and a lot of the same BS that he has spouted during the last 4 years.

    “invest” in education.

Promote growth and create jobs with government stimulus

    raise taxes

Cut the “deficit” (we should eliminate it not cut it and do it today not over 10 years)

Pretty words that tickle your ears and mean absolutely nothing.

Harleyquinn isn’t worth reading or responding to. Just ignore the hapless little bubblehead, maybe he’ll go away….but, I doubt we’d be that lucky

You need only read the comments on THIS ONE STRIP, let alone all the political cartoons on this site- and never mind the “discussions” being held across the country- to see just where this sad state of affairs stems from.
Shaw was right- democracy made sure we’re governed no better than we deserve. Are we sure this is still a union?

I heartily concur. But don’t you get tired of constantly voting for the “lessor of evils” as a choice for the leader of the country?
