You’re being unfair to Harley. He doesn’t just hate Obama. He hates Bush too. In fact, he hates everybody. He’s very egalitarian in that way.

Harley is in fine form today. He’s well representing both the kind of naked partisanship the cartoon is talking about and the fact free Obama hatred of a typical Fox News viewer. Well done, Harley!

That’s right, HE worked with the Republicans and Newt, who tried not to work with him, and shut down the government twice. Worked out well for Newt didn’t it? Just remember the Tea Party sign: Keep your government hands of my Medicare! They’ll follow Boehner right off the cliff and complain about what happened!

Harleyquinn: Double the welfare rolls? Hardly anything close, but it wouldn’t be difficult – just add on half or so of those need-qualified but not currently covered. That would still leave a bunch more qualified but not covered. Or you can do like the totalitarians and let them die. Of course, most of them are the ones the millionaires stole their millions from and losing them would mean no more millions, but they don’t believe in cause and effect, much less in morality.

Harleyquinn isn’t worth reading or responding to. Just ignore the hapless little bubblehead, maybe he’ll go away….but, I doubt we’d be that lucky

“The tea baggers should be declared enemy combatants so Obama can send in the drones and the marines.”

I see you have perfected the liberal version of Ms. Ima’s rant. It’s reassuring to know that with attitudes such as yours we will be mired in total gridlock for the foreseeable future. At least we know what to expect.

HA! I have to work tomorrow so there no way I could play that drinking game without using a sick day.

Some additions to the game: Every time he says “level the playing field” take a drink. Every time he says “revenues” (taxes), take a drink. Every time he says “personal responsibility” take a drink. Oh wait, that would never happen.

Geesh Harley, I hope you don’t take this all too seriously, especially if you have high blood pressure or some such thing. Of course I suppose I would get somewhat offended if someone called me a “racist” and a “queer.” Nah, that’s pretty middle school level “cut lows.” Wow, haven’t thought of that expression for decades… Anyway, lighten up man, in the conservative vs liberal ratio posting on these sites you’re outnumbered…

“Sure we have the minor party candidates for president, but unless they have any chance of winning, they really aren’t a choice are they?”

Very thoughtful post and I agree whole heartily. As to minor party candidates, it may not be an instant election winner, but if people abandon the status quo and throw their support to real change, it can grow into effective prominence.

I can’t help noticing the irony and hypocracy:*Harley goes on a mad rant saying that all Obama does is “blame, blame, blame” and then spends the rest of his rant blaming Obama for everything.*Then Bruce says, “the liberal agenda is to demean, debase and degrade the opposition.” AS IF the Republican leaders didn’t pledge to make Obama a 1-term President. And didn’t impeach Clinton.

“every-time I read or hear of the Michel moron lie I just remember how the big bad Vet Senator Kerry said he reacted. He said he was paralyzed with fear, cried a little, after the 1st plane hit. W on the other hand did what he was told by the Secrete service. Sat there digested what was going on till they could take him away. Shoot I flat out denied it till someone turned on the TV, Then I sat there in horror.Speaking of Michel Moron, why is he not following Obama around on the golf course?”

Why are you ranting about Michel? What did she have to do with 9-11? W did not know what to do and only reacted after the SS told him he HAD to go with them. Poor posting even from you, HQ.

And what’s ironic is that neither party is really fighting over anything, both are highly right-wing and in many cases believe in the same policies and principals. The problem is that the democrats are just not right-wing enough.

Look at the tremendous success the president has had with the gop stalling him at every single turn. Just think how much further along we would be as a nation if those incompetent fools had actually helped.

’he took the surplus Clinton had set up"

that is a myth,’-When the first round of Bush Tax Cuts was enacted, Bush stated that it was done specifically to get rid of that mythical surplus.

The Obama voters have gotten what they deserve. Romney had a track record of reaching out and achieving bipartisanship.

Facts please: WHEN did Obama ever say he HATED Fox News?Another projection from comments made by Fox “fair and balanced” commentators who comment based on a post they’ve read that was forwarded by a friend, who got it from a friend, who said he got it from a source in the administration. And their complaints about not being called upon in press conferences turned out to be simple whining when the actual number of and affiliation of those called on was published last year. As to Romney and his bipartisanship, his ONLY claim to that was ROMNEYCARE, on which Obamacare was based. It’s awfully hard to prove bipartisanship when you issue over 300 vetoes!
