You tell ‘im dad! It isn’t so much about the tax forms, as the total lack of integrity. (Like Rush)
Gary McSpook said, 10 months ago
It’s too bad Mitt doesn’t have 1/2 of the integrity of his father.
I’m not a Republican, but I respected George Romney. Like Rockefeller and Goldwater and Dirkson, not men I’d agree with on most issues, but men of honor nonetheless.
Mitt is just a pale shadow of his father; richer, but of far less quality.
He’s not the least bit “presidential.”

If the returns are legal and he’s paying a low rate, he should share his secrets with everyone so we can ALL benefit.

If his returns are legal and he pays a low rate, he should share his secrets with American taxpayers so we can ALL benefit from his brilliant tax strategies. Come on, Mitt!

Also calling for Romney to release his tax returns, such flaming liberals as Bill Kristol, George Will, Rick Perry…

Hidden Accounts in Foreign countries, how many millions not taxed and drawing higher intrest rates than the U.S. Allows?
Yeah Romney would not want that information to get out, the IRS might have issues with Romney that could include Jail Time.

“it is impossible to know” if Obama’s transcripts contain anti government pro Marxist rants. But I guess we will not know till he turns them over. http://times247.com/articles/obama-camp-impossible-to-know-if-romney-is-a-tax-criminal

“but I respected George Romney. Like Rockefeller and Goldwater and Dirkson,”
And James Baker, and George Schultz, and Brent Scowcroft, and Colin Powell, and even George H.W. Bush . . .
I miss the Republican party. I often disagreed with them. But they were intelligent, experienced men. Long and devoted service to the country in both civilian and military capacities. Pragmatic and grounded in reality.
All are gone now, of course, and purged. Lack of ideological purity. Deviationists from the Fox LimBeck party line.
Replaced by what Republican David Frum calls: “a whole alternative knowledge system, with its own facts, its own history, its own laws of economics.”

Romney released one year of tax records, President Obama has released 12 years of tax records. Romney is showing a lack of respect for the American people to judge his behavior on his fiscal practices. He is running on his ability to be a man of business but won’t show his business -personal activity!

If released, the returns would show income from Bain Capital which would prove he is not telling the truth about his association with the firm.

@Justice22
Or worse, it’ll show he paid ZERO taxes. Its hard to make a case that taxes are too high when you aren’t paying any.

His transcripts are going to show what he wrote on his term papers?
.
Do you think college professors really read those things? Forget putting them into some sort of data base! You do realize that yesterday isn’t today right? Memory used to cost $1,000per gig back in 1997. Extraploating that back to when Obama was in college it would have cost around $50,000 to have a machine that could even hold the information. See where I’m going?
.
Maybe not because you think that the transcripts of his grades are like the transcripts of the Watergate tapes!
.
And it doesn’t matter if Obama’s college papers were anti American. They’re supposed to be! It’s college! You’re supposed to question everything that you thought you knew. Then you can sort though the information and come to a reasoned understanding as opposed to a blind faith.
.
Gung Ho, never question the righteousness of America soldiers were easy pickens for the Commies in North Korea. Because these people had never questioned their faith, the “brainwashers” were able to convince these soldiers that America was “evil.” They had no foundation for their belief other than their faith. Once they were shown that indeed America had it’s seedy problems, the whole house of cards collapsed. The mind was now wide open for manipulation.
.
College does the same thing in a controlled environment. And it gives the student the tools to understand that America isn’t perfect, it’s just that it is better than the other systems.
.
Churchill said ’ not a liberal when young= no soul…’
.
The fact is that Obama is not Marxist or Socialist, or leftist or even Liberal, he’s barely a Democrat! Harry S Truman would be disgusted by Obama! (Of course, ole Harry was pretty cranky) so what he was is not as important as what he is.
.
Mitt, on the other hand is probably who he was three years ago, and four years ago, and five years ago….

Romney knows that there is enough on his tax returns showing he paid little or no taxes for some years will look very bad for him. Why McCain chose Palin over him for VP.

To “Libs” there is no “Lib Media” since it is owned by Cons. Such a BIG LIE.

Back during the Republican primaries, Newt Gingrich (that well-known liberal) said that it was “outrageous” and “absurd” for anybody to run for president without releasing his income tax forms. Of course, since Newt changes his mind nearly as often as Romney does, he might not say it now. But plenty of other conversatives are saying it (or have said it). I think Romney’s father would probably be ashamed of him for not releasing them. And I think Romney is NOT who he was 4 years ago, anymore than the John McCain of 2008 was the same as the John McCain of 2000. Both were better people during their first runs for the presidency.
