Well, after a short search, I came upon this:Classical art (mostly on Greek vases) shows Atlas holding the celestial spheres, not the terrestrial globe, like people thought. The solidity of the marble globe borne by the Farnese Atlas (statue from ca. 150 CE) aided the misconception, reinforced in the 16th century by the developing usage of atlas to describe a corpus of terrestrial maps.
So the misconception originated as soon as the first pictures of Atlas and the celestial spheres were made on vases, so at least since 530 BCE.
Well, I don’t really know the answer. Remember, this was 2019. So enlighten me and tell me if you still think he’s “a very stable genius”. One who can make magnetism disappear by pouring water over magnets. I’m curious to find out if you’re still as gullible as almost five years ago.
By the way; do you still love him so much after his loss in 2020 (or are you also denying this?) and his actions on January 6, 2021 and further crimes and traitorous actions?
I wasn’t looking for you. Don’t flatter your already way too large ego. Just happened to reread this comic from the start, as I do with my favorite strips. Your love for the orange criminal and traitor just happened to catch my eye, and because you’re still active, I commended.
Yeah; Opus for president in 2024.
