Holly seems to find safety in Wally backpack. Not the first time she’s been in that backpack. Looks like our favorite couple is going topside for a while at least.

Welcome to the group. There’s quite a bit of backstory to Aaron’s world setting in Endtown. Fortunately you can get most of it be going back in the archives right here on GoComics. Though if you want it in book form Amazon has volumes 1 and 2 and Jarlidium Press has a few of the limited edition volumes 3 and 4 – they need to find a way to reformat the volumes since the cost of printing that format has jumped.

    Wally… catch her!

I’m so glad this isn’t Friday yet, I don’t think i could wait a weekend for the next strip.

Well, got a good surprise tonight, volumes 3 and 4 of the Endtown books arrived in my mailbox. Volumes 3 and 4 are slightly longer in length than volumes 1 and 2. Also the format inside is slightly different, which has a fair number more pages than the first two volumes. I’ll have to spend some time reading through them. They were shipped on Monday, so others who are eagerly expecting their copies, the should arrive soon if not already.

Remember, it’s not just a preorder, it’s the only way to get it in this format during their Limited edition run. There’s only 100 copies available for preorder. The remaining 50 are for direct sales/Aaron. You will not be able to find them on Amazon later. At least until they work out printing in a new format that won’t be as expensive.

As Mr Sherman mentioned the first two volumes were signed by Aaron by providing a Custom bookplate sticker with signature. The first two were Al and Gustine silhouettes with Aaron signing the top and filling in your name on the bottom. I would guess that the bookplates for volume 3 and 4 would feature Wally, Holly, and/or Flask. Maybe Marx since the 4th book will get to where he’s introduced.

I’m just excited about getting the next two volumes. They’ll go well with the volume 1 and 2 I already have.

Aaron is the master of the Friday suspense… until the books come out.

Speaking of the books: Do you have volumes 1 & 2? Do you want to get volumes 3 & 4 in the same format… Then you better preorder or plan to buy from Aaron or Jarlidium directly at a convention. I preordered mine and was told I’m number 38. Out of a limited run of 150, with only 100 being available for pre-order. According to Jarlidium the prices to print and sell that format went up so there will only be a limited run of them made and sold.

Check out the order page: http://www.jarlidium.com/preorder.html for more details on what’s up with the books, format, and most especially to order your limited edition now.

Don’t know but it could also be that Jake is a more recent addition to the council. They probably would have tried something like this before now if they had the right circumstance and a majority on the council. Either the right circumstance hasn’t come up since they gained majority or they only recently gained majority and know it. So I’m thinking that there are some who know at least who the majority are, since that’s the only way to be sure of the majority vote. I wonder what the council does on ties?

Hmm, with 8 switches on the intercom I wonder what sort of settings they might be. At first I thought maybe a mute switch for each other council member. With only 8 switches that doesn’t work, though maybe the head of the council isn’t mutable? If it was just an open channel system then the chatter would likely be a detriment to communication, so we probably are just hearing one of the other council member.

I’d think that the canals running red with blood of the sinners is pretty vocal. Though it would probably be dependent on what sins are being considered. Some might consider mutants who remained human or were semi-aware when mutating are “sinners”. It will be interesting to see how this pans out. Hopefully our heroes will find a way to oust the stale council members and change the system to be less prone to being tampered with.

Well We now know who the one dissenter was in the nearly unanimous vote that the high council is doing a wonderful job, they should vote themselves a pay raise due to their wonderful performance review. After all if their plan goes through there will be less people in Endtown.

I wonder how anonymous it is when they start pushing forward the ideals they have vocally pushed when not on the council. I wonder if one of the other council members is Jacob Jackrabbit.

With it being called unauthorized cake rather than illegal cake maybe there’s just forms and processes to go through to legally make a cake with mutant based ingrediants? Those government people don’t like it when you don’t fill out the forms, especially when you don’t fill them out in triplicate.

Also anyone who’s looking for a good listing of week/titles for Endtown there’s a fairly good Table of contents on it’s old home of http://www.moderntales.com/comics/endtown.php?view=toc. Unfortunately this only goes through the stories of before it was brought to GoComic.
