Unemployment is down, the stock market is setting record high numbers, inflation is down… what’s the problem here? And — since when is being a Sore Loser, and demonstrating Poor Sportsmanship, considered acceptable behavior? Would you tolerate it from your kids’ soccer coach? A prophetic post! This comic ran 8/12/2008, and the Great Recession started 9/14/2008, when Lehman Bros collapsed. (I am not a financial dates nerd; my first grandchild was born on 9/14/08, so the date is permanent in my brain).
