I don’t THINK You’re DITZ, Lu.
MORON Yes, DITZ, No!

Thank goodness she has a mom like Nancy who is level-headed and wise. She WILL talk about this with Nancy at one point and learn from a role model. Nancy WILL say Toni was wrong about the whole thing.

Show identification for a specific piece of mail: I’ll have to remember that one.

What? After the set-up yesterday, this after-the-fact presentation is a little tame. Why not show Luann trying to seduce the mail carrier, even though she was female?

@howtheduck
Maybe because Luann is (a) straight and (b) only 16?

@CJBz
Well, exactly what other option is there, other than for Toni to concede that what’s done is done. Of course, you’re right that Toni should have conceded that long before now instead of making such a big deal out and letting Luann make a fool out of herself in the process.

And if Luann drives, why doesn’t she have a driver’s license?

I meant making a fool out of herself with the letter carrier, not with Quill. My point was that there was nothing wrong with Luann’s sending that letter to Quill, and that for once, Toni should have minded her own business.

Ah. Then I agree completely!

If Luann is such a dope she probably only put a normal domestic stamp on the letter, instead of going to the Post Office to have it weighed, etc. It’ll be “returned to sender” in a day or two.

Let’s give Quill a chance! Maybe he’ll skype to say he loves Luann, too! (Hey, it could happen!)

Down in Australia in a day or two, Quill will receive a letter. He will open it and a smile will appear as he reads it. With a joyous expression on his face, he will go to school and gather Karen, Gail, Sandra, and a few other foxy ladies around him and say, “Hey, Babes. Remember that ditzy girl I was telling all of you about? Check out the letter she sent. See, told you I had the chicks all over me while I was in the States. It was my accent.”

I like Toni – maybe a bit emotional at times, but the maturity shows as well. If her an Brad gets married and kids comes along, she’ll be a great mother and leader in the home.
