By the time the girls and their spokesman are done with him, that Panda’s going to have to change his name to Ebeneezer Scrooge, LOL!

At least the doesn’t fall into tears by this rememberence .
Angry yes. Wouldn’t we all be irritated by the ombasity ( this is not a word, but ok, I made it up and it works for me.) of this pomposity. ( that IS a word. fitting and as we are all beginning to learn is perfect description for Algood.)

Maude probably doesn’t care much for Algood. Too bad. He could use about 2 or fifty of her “tough love” slaps.

She’s defiant, all right. Is the audience wowed?
The crowds eat it up, but that Allgood’s not cowed
He doggedly hangs on, still tries propaganda
But he seems an increasingly desperate panda

The key to this trial is: He’s hoping for laws
What they did’s not illegal; he argues “Because
It’s immoral, it should be illegal, I say!”
Jacob should “jack him up”: He should not win the day.

This is looking like, for all Allgood’s lecturing, he has never actually sat down and talked with people of Maude’s type. He’s asking questions blindly and letting her answer them in her own fashion, and I think he’s hearing opinions he’s never really heard before. It’s not best tactic for a prosecutor, this stumbling blindly through the case.

Truer words where never spoken what one may call a weirdo is what another calls a soulmate.
And it’s no ones business to judge another ’s love lest alone what happens between the sheets.

If Allgood is interested in preserving human values, insinuating that an interphenotypical marriage is weird would be against his interests. But he’s already shown he hasn’t thought this crusade through.
