I’m not normally one who has a problem with places serving food to whoever asks for it but $148 in fast food is an disgusting amount of calories. His father should be arrested for child endangerment.

Unlike Justme725, I love where this is going — after the panel three comments, where can Evans take this — Will there EVER be some sympathy for Ms. Eiffel from TJ? Will she now vent in some way, and take it out on someone else? Ox perhaps? TJ?

Today’s strip makes me think of a customer leaving a brothel. Ann “pleased” him. He feels satisfied, Ann feels self loathing and disgust. And TJ also looks appropriately sleezy.

Wait everybody maybe she doesn’t really want to be low and dirty… Maybe she feels has to be that way…

Of course what Anne isn’t saying is that for her, low and dirty is a GOOD feeling.

If she truly feels low and dirty, it’s because she has a concience. Unlike TJ, who turns everybodys lives upside down and doesn’t lose a second of sleep over it.

Anne and TJ are like a dog and a pig in front of a mudhole.

Anne is dirty as the mudhole already, but won’t go in—where TJ, like the hog, enjoys being in the mudhole!

You know, Ann, if you were nice to people on a regular basis, not only would you get more business – but you’d actually feel good about yourself.

TJ has no room to be talking at all. He’s treated customers (and friends!) to way more smarmy phoniness and lies than Ann ever did, and he needs to drop the smug superior attitude.

It seems no one picked up on the “see ME again.” and the “I’LL be waiting ior you.” She’s making poor OX feel like it’s a personal thing between him and her. She’s leading him on to pad her sales. No wonder she feels low and dirty.

After half the somewhat mentally disadvantaged find out how well she treated Ox, they’ll ALL come in. And all along she’s hating herself for being nice to them until she snaps…and joins a convent.

It appears that Ms. Hard-boiled egg has a little crack. Honestly, I kind of feel sorry for Ann. Perhaps she’s vulnerable and has to put up a tough and heartless exterior to protect herself. Who knows what she’s been through? Maybe TJ can figure it out.

The introduction of Ox into the Ann/TJ arc provides an entirely new dimension to speculation possibilities. I know I’m waiting with bated breath to see if and/or how hard Ann falls, and the future is rife with intriguing options.

Ann has no back story, Greg just makes her evil without any reason. Why is she that way? How & where does she live? Was she abused ? Does she curl up with a kitten at night? Does she have any redeeming qualities? Most stories have a beginning, middle, and end. All Greg’s stories have a beginning, middle, and then fade into the next arc. At least let Gunther kiss Rosa so the world can concentrate on more important matters.

Some people just find being nice to be too much work.

I’m gong to go WAY out on a limb and postulate that Ms. Eiffel is undergoing a long-delayed development of her frontal lobes and is feeling the effects of a budding conscience. I just read up a bit on Antisocial Personality Disorder (the most current term for Ms. Eiffel’s affliction that I’m familiar with) and noted that improvement is rare, but possible. We’ll see. (Of course, I realize that this is a comic strip, dependent upon Greg for its course.)

Ann tries to take full advantage of her good looks. However with TJ’s “help,” Ann is finding out that most everybody sees through her. Only Ox – a fat dumb kid – doesn’t see through her. And this in front of TJ…

I love TJ’s comments via his eyebrows in today’s strip. Plenty said.

We seem to have a lot of armchair psychologists, psychiatrists or whatever on board today, but none to compare to Freud, Jung or Lucy.

Then she must be mono-polar or maybe non polar. Maybe she just needs to be polarized. You could probably find a lot of guys who would volunteer for the job.
