Given that the majority of Toles comics are great, we probably need to assume this one gets some problem off of his chest even if I don’t know what it is.
One of the things I find most discouraging about some of my fellow Americans is their unwillingness to do a little research, rather they just say Huh? Note that Toles draws for the Washington Post. The other clues are ‘Metro’ and ‘Brake System’. Google ‘Washington Metro Brake Problems’ for more information.
And as a political statement, perhaps if more people searched for information and read in depth, instead of blindly following paid politically biased entertainers such as Limbaugh and Coulter we wouldn’t be in this mess.
Oh, yeah, we should all spend our time watching Larry King and David Letterman ‘cause they’re clearly unbiased. Give the hate a rest for a while, Bill.

You make a good point Plain Bill, but I live in the sticks of North Idaho which is often without power.
