Awkward in so many funny ways.

Given that the majority of Toles comics are great, we probably need to assume this one gets some problem off of his chest even if I don’t know what it is.

One of the things I find most discouraging about some of my fellow Americans is their unwillingness to do a little research, rather they just say Huh?
Note that Toles draws for the Washington Post. The other clues are ‘Metro’ and ‘Brake System’. Google ‘Washington Metro Brake Problems’ for more information.

And as a political statement, perhaps if more people searched for information and read in depth, instead of blindly following paid politically biased entertainers such as Limbaugh and Coulter we wouldn’t be in this mess.

I find it amazing that those individuals you’ve listed have become rich through lies and deceit. Yet so many good Americans have suffered economically due to the policies Coulter and Limbarf promote and represent.

Oh, yeah, we should all spend our time watching Larry King and David Letterman ‘cause they’re clearly unbiased. Give the hate a rest for a while, Bill.

Obviously you have access to a computer, and a TV. If you get your information from entertainers posing as news presenters of any political slant you are demonstrating EXACTLY what I am complaining about. I am especially amused by your use of Letterman as an example – as far as I know, he has never claimed to be anything but an entertainer.

You make a good point Plain Bill, but I live in the sticks of North Idaho which is often without power.

I would like to say I feel for you, but I was 10 years old before we had electricity in our home. And now I whimper and whine when APS drops power to our neighborhood for more than 30 seconds.
