Raking leaves is great exercise….of course I can say that cause I don’t have to do that….lol

What he meant to say was ‘no fare’, they never negotiated his fee for raking!

I think the no fair is the amount of leaves…there is not nearly enough on the side of the house to make a decent pile to jump into!

What a spoiled brat. And kids don’t even really rake these days, now that everyone uses blowers (which drive me nuts).

Mike is right. Dad, have him do the whole thing instead.

The only thing life and fair have in common is that they’re 4 letter words. I kinda envy dad. I hope he makes a BIG pile. Unlike Linus, I’ll finish my lollipop first.

I’m thinking Mike wanted to either be with his dad, doing everything dad does, or wanted to rake a huge pile to jump into. Either way, he’s a normal kid!

My dad didn’t rake with us-just told us to get out there & rake-front,back, & sides. When we got done, we had to rake the neighbors-they were older ladies & needed help-for free. I remember smarting off to him one time about it-didn’t do that again.

Apparently, that is the yard from a house she lived in, in Dundas Ontario. BIG yards out there, to say the least!

I take it, then, that you think you could do better? Do you have any idea how much hard work goes into writing a book that’s worth publishing, even a work of “sub-par mediocrity?” Writing is hard work, even though it doesn’t look like it, but sneering at people who do it is easy. Shame on you!

The BIG front yard. In the orginal run of this comic in one ofthe “episodes” Micheal is running over a rock in the front yard. He starts to dig it out only to find that it get bigger andBIGGER! Its finall dug out and hauled away on a flatbedtruck. IT WAS HUGH!!! Yep, they have a BIG front yard.

Regarding your statement from yesterday —

I could tell you how to get an avatar but given all the trouble I’m having changing mine to something else when the process is supposed to be so simple . . . well, I just wouldn’t listen to me if I were you!!!!! Right now, I’m wishing more than you could possibly know that I had never changed it to begin with! :-(
