Ever the writer at heart, Jake manages to turn an awful situation into one in his favor. I think I can hear the voice of reason slip away like wind…

All true sociopaths must be able to manipulate situations, otherwise, they wouldn’t be sociopaths.

I like how Wally is standing on Cooper’s back in order to be tall enough to punch the Security Bull. Doesn’t look like it bothers Cooper in the slightest. (With their size difference, I’ll bet a little cat like Wally is about as light as a real cat compared to Cooper.)And wow, for Jake managing to make reasonable and heroic people look like monsters trying to fight this “self acceptance” hogwash.I look forward to seeing how this ends up! Keep up the great work, Aaron!

I don’t think You Don’t Know Jackrabbit’s doing so well. He’s sweating quite a bit, there. Maybe things aren’t going quite as planned?

Aaron, you have managed to accomplish what Alexandre Dumas did with his newspaper serial stories (The Three Musketeers, etc.). That is, have the story arc stop with such a cliffhanger that the reader automatically comes back for more.

Thought for sure Wally was headed to deck the rabbit. Someone needs to shut him up. Division is his plan to bring Endtown to an end.

I was always fascinated by WW2-Charakters like Goebbels or Hiltler, (fascinated in a bad way, i am absolutly no nazi) because of the way they speaked, and even more fascinated that people where listening happily. Nowadays this way of speaking is just funny and weird. I can easily imaging Jake speaking in that way, nearly screaming and gesturing wildly.

There was never a question of Wally’s not going for the guard, since Cooper was the only one needing help. I was pretty sure Holly was going to follow him just to keep his back. And Jack continues ranting, opening up a whole new can of beans.Aaron – after all this time, wouldn’t the Endtowners have come up with their own unique slang? Like, ""about as useful as a Mallard watch", “drunk as a Mayor” or “folded in the face of danger like Jackrabbit going Topside”?

Aaron, I love the “if you’re not for us; then you’re against us.” propaganda. The biggest coward is the one who is afraid of an idea and Jackrabbit is definitely afraid. I take it he has a substantial number of thugs and other bullies to do his dirty work. I like how Wally defends and Holly attends to those in harm’s way.

How about some votes for this most amazing comic on TopWebComics.com. Endtown 2.0 is at 433 and the original is at 372. While Aaron loves the interaction in the posts here, your votes at TWC will help bring new readers in and new readers means more support.fans and helps out all around.

Wait a second. Aaron, does this mean that the Professor has bought into this “self-acceptance” stuff? Yeah, he’s vain and arrogant but he’s a good person at heart and I’m surprised he’d go for a scam like this.

Anyone have a recipe for hassenpfeffer?*Jackrabbit’s frustration during the trial of Al and Gustine may have pushed him to this point. I think he feels that everyone involved has too much association with Topsiders. They brought one back (Petey), Flask seems to know them, and Al looks like them. They also made him look bad. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s investigating Flask to try to connect her to the Topsiders, and will succeed.*I haven’t seen any coyotes yet. This should be corrected.

I would imagine that – in the six years since mutations began – a number of changed individuals went with new names and Jacob is merely using that trend as the springboard for his radical concepts. Aaron – really like the layout today with the alternating views as the dialogue continues. Sadly, I think it loses a bit of impact by not being presented in the 4-across format – but it’s still very dramatic. You da man! (assuming you haven’t mutated into a penguin)

Aaron your artwork and writing is top notch. Only Jack Rabbit’s (or should I say “Jerk Rabbit”) hate speech is as shallow as Lake Lanier! (55 [or so] miles north of Atlanta).

Can you say, “Divide and conquer”? Make no mistake; that’s definitely what this guy is about. And he’s not about to brook any rational resistance! Reason is the enemy of emotionalism, which is all he’s peddling at this point.

Holly should have been a nurse instead of a waitress, the way she’s comforting the fish guy. Very Touching.

You cannot reason with a fundamentalist, no matter what flavor they are. They are totally convinced that they are right, they have all the answers, everything is black and white, and there can be no compromise. It IS happening here.

History Channel just aired an amazing show— “The Rise of the Third Reich”. Mostly never before seen home movies by ordinary Germans showing how easy it was to be caught up by events and how it was too late once the true horror of the situation became apparent to the majority.

I guess now the Bunny Leader ( der Hase Fuhrer) will run for Mayor and round up the sub-people (mutant unchanged humans?) into a ghetto (possibly one of the side caves. And of course the supernatural Oracle must be co-opted to the Hase Fuhrer’s plans.

Ok, question is, will Wally’s punch be enough to bring him down? Um, not a chance. Given size diff, shear bulk…Fishman on the other hand. could put the bull out cold.

Hmm, a little right-wing bashing going on here. . . Guys, think for a minute. Are some of those comments really THAT different from the garbage old Jackelope is spouting? We versus them, us good, they bad? And the same with the “fundamentalists.”

The scary thing is, just about anyone can get caught up in this kind of rhetoric. This kind of overemotional, irrational thought and behavior transcends religion, political stripe, perhaps species. . . I see it all the time, from both sides of Congress, from every religion/denomination, and even from rabid sports fans. Just something to mull over until Monday gets here!
