My dog will come and get me to tell me it’s time to go to bed. He comes down the hall and sits with a thud next to wherever I’m sitting, then sits there with his ears pricked up. I’ll ask him if it’s time to go to bed and he runs down the hall towards the bedroom. If I don’t come soon he’ll come down the hall and peek around the corner at me and his last attempt is he’ll lay down with his head between his paws by me and let out a huge sigh. It’s the funniest thing to watch and endearing!

It would be so nice if I could figure out a way of sending 1 mega-amps and 1giga volt down the line to the spammers keyboard as a booby trap so the next time they connect to C and H they would simply “IIIZZZZZZZZTTTTTTTT!” and adios. Anyway. Great comic today. Here it is all dark and rainy this Sunday morning at 9 am and now I am tired too! Is it too early for my siesta?

I need Hobbes at bed time so I could fall asleep better. Dino I said this once and I’ll say it again I really enjoy your stories. I believe that about dogs. Cats are a different story they sleep all the time.

Cats might sleep a lot ,but boy Hobbes has a routine that I think would even help me. And I can cat nap all most at will.

It’s 2pm and now I’m ready for an afternoon nap. So are the cats – who will be ready to rumble at bedtime tonight.

I had a Burmese named Macavity who used to announce bedtime by ‘talking’ to me if I didn’t turn in when he thought I ought to.

Our tuxedo cat sleeps most of the day and then cranks up when he hears any reference to going to bed. Usually only runs the house for about an hour or so and then back to sleep.
