1. Top panel: Man is time traveling Edward Hopper who visited 2018, returned, and is explaining his smokeless cigarette to his wife, Josephine. Bottom panel: Time traveling Nighthawks is giving weekly assignments to time traveling StelBel.
2. Top: Woman with back to viewer is explaining why there are no chopsticks in a restaurant named, Chop Suey. Bottom: Woman with back to viewer is explaining why person wearing brown head covering must always pick up the tab.
I only found 8 of the 9. But, where are the facing woman’s legs? The image at

sort of has skin tones under the table where they should be (also at the wikiart.org page pointed to by Alexikakos – because mine has NH’s description, I added it as References to the wikiart.org page). I guess those skin tones got lost (or very muted, to my eyes anyway) when someone edited the image, trying to improve on the coloration (or whatever), to what NH used.
3. Top: Man, not a fan of his wife’s restaurant selection, is thinking, “oh. chop suey.” Bottom: Man is Arkansas Razorbacks’ fan thinking, “Woo Pig Sooie.”
4. Top: Man at table is explaining that, pursuant to a little known codicil to the City of New York Restaurant Code, a woman wearing a red hat must always pick up the tab for Chop Suey. Bottom: Man is thinking, “WTF happened to her red hat?”.
5. Top: Cheapskate C&C producers purchased rights to lesser known “Legless Woman Chop Suey” from Cleveland’s Discount Hopper Art & Railroad Salvage Bargain Barn. Bottom: Cheapskate commenter uses less expensive “stretch it out” system for posting Saturday puzzle non solution.

Well, Sandy has an outlandish costume. But where is her cape?

Where is Cleo?

Well, I know some of you have started without me….
But for the rest of you…..
Here’s your side by side puzzle.
https://s10.postimg.org/rmz49uzhl/Cleo_nine_differences_Feb_17th_18.png
And it’s another Hopper, too!
Love those.
No, to any of you new arrivals…. not the Easter Bunny. An Edward Hopper painting.
Thanks for the caption, Nighthawks!
And I think the directions to the forum should be on the strip every day.
(Of course, cos I don’t have to do it.)
Too bad an undated URL won’t work….
something you could build into the frame, or at least paste in without the effort of updating.
But that only works if you’re going to the current strip….. not a ten year old one.
If you like, I could paste the Cleo Sherpa address into one of my comments, every day that I come here…
which is close to every day.
That way, we get the ones who somehow find Cleo on Sherpa,
Plus the ones on Ballard Street who know, or hear, that the Cleo comments are 10 years back,
but don’t remember how to find the strip.

Whee! I got nine without even needing Susan’s side-by-side. I don’t think Hopper hides his differences as well as Nighthawks does.
