I came here to write a comment but forgot what it was….

I do this all the time – repeat over and over what I’m going into another room for. And yet, sometimes I still forget, because once I get in the other room, I see something else I wanted to find or there’s something else I wanted to do in that room. Then I forget my original reason for going in that room.

I decide to look something up online, see an article that distracts me, and forgot what my original search was about!

His mind did a “flip” flop! Spatula, get it?!

Why do you need a spatula? To lick the cake batter off of. Ah, childhood memories.

Because Roscoes huevos are froze to the front porch

Needs it for that burning smell coming from the KITCHEN!!

I imagine he’s pronouncing it Spat-tool-ah, because he’s can’t quite remember the name of Sean Penn’s character in “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”.

I buy groceries for recipes then I forget which recipe it’s for and it just sits there.

Perhaps it was a back scratcher.

He came in the room to get a spatula.

He just came into a room. There is the doorway phenomenon. Often when you walk through a doorway you can lose track of what you were doing. Sometimes the same thing happens if you get distracted when someone says something unexpected… Like “Why were you saying spatula?”

That’s me, remembering what I went in for ….. but forgot “WHY” I wanted it ….. :)

You use a spatula near the… STOVE! Uh oh!

Oh no, the double memory thought loss…

I use my phone’s timer but, unfortunately, it doesn’t say anything useful about what it was timing. I need one that says, “Time to get cookies out of the oven.”, instead of “beep, beep, beep”.
