Swimming and fishing in the Susquehanna River and local farmer’s pond (with his permission), riding bike, making bike ramps, making tree forts, catching fireflies, backyard basketball, hide & seek, Red Rover, "Bumper Cars and other homemade up yard games, sand box, roaming through the woods, looking for returnable glass soda bottles to go buy penny candy, water skiing on the river, etc., etc., etc. Wintertime we were allowed to ice skate on the pond and sled in one section of the farmer’s fields. What was not a driving range at the time was THE BEST little mountain to sled down, grueling walking back up, but the ride down was worth it.
Mustangs are the best. My first car was a used one. I got ripped off, but at at least I owned one for a time.
