Kinda funny. At any given moment, probably 2/3 of my neighbors have emergency generators… and NOBODY doesn’t understand where power comes from.

Of course Bob’s already way out of bounds with any manufactured items at all.

I’m all in favor of dropping “sovereign citizens” who claim they don’t have to obey the laws of any nation onto a deserted island in the Pacific. Drop ’em there naked and wish them luck.

Heck, German tourists visiting the US know you have to obey the US laws while here. Someone born here can claim, “I don’t have to obey your laws.”?

    No mayonnaise in Ireland

I have looked on every shelfFor the most desired condimentA part of every mealIf a coldcut is dressed only in oilThe hoagie is the lessAs well as if a chicken salad wereAs well as if a lobster roll of thy friendsOr of thine own were:Because it is involved in the catering

And therefore never send to knowFrom whom the fresh rollsThe rolls we eat.

Neither can we call for a begging of mustardOr a borrowing of mustardThough we have not mustard enough for ourselvesBut must fetch it in from the next houseIn taking upon us the mustard of our neighboursTruly we have precious condiments in our fridgeFor ketchup is a treasureAnd scarce any man has enough of itNo man has ketchup enough that it pours easily forthTo fill the hotdog with ketchup

If man carry beef bullion and a wedge of cheeseAnd have none made into fondueHis treasure will not feed him as he travelsTriple -decker sandwiches require mayo in the nature of itBut not mustard is used, nor relishExcept as we get weirder and weirder our tastes, heavens, by itIn summer mayo might make you sick tooAnd sick to deathIf any confection is left lying outNot cold, but lukewarmI warn you Do not use itBut this smellWhat tells you of salmonellaThrow out and eat plain cold meatTrust not your refrigerationOr anothers dairyI make my own fresh salad dressingFrom scratch each timeBy making my mayo myselfIt is my only security

Bob’s an idiot. Ditch the tv, make the computer a laptop and watch tv on that. Get rid of the printer, go paperless. Pare down that fridge and now you can run off solar. And how many chairs do you really need? Think, Bob, think.

I never understood why they didn’t fix the boat. One small hole in the side and there would have been more than enough wood from the interior to patch it and plenty of screws to attach it. Tree resin to waterproof.

Bob, Bob, Bob…. I learned decades ago you can be on your own little island in the midst of even the biggest city. And still enjoy all the modern conveniences. Like off switches on phones (even landlines), home delivery and news programs that will keep you on your island forever.
