If space is infinite, how come real estate prices are so high? (I’m glad I bought my home on Mars when I did. I couldn’t afford most of the universe these days.)
I just recently noticed something; The first News Site that I ever saw refuse to let you view their content if you had an active Ad Blocker was “Forbes”. Now, Forbes doesn’t block the blockers. As I’m sure many others do, I always just go somewhere else for the same content, rather than de-activate the Ad Blocker. Perhaps now these blocking sites are beginning to realize that allowing their content to be read, rather than someone else’s, is worth not forcing ads on their viewers…
In the 1980s, David Suzuki had a special about hearing. He said hearing loss among seniors is mostly a modern problem. People who live in traditional villages, the way their ancestors have lived for millennia, don’t lose their hearing the way we do. And listening to loud music makes it worse. Kids who turned the music volume up are “entering the workforce with retirement age hearing”.
Welcome to Los Angeles. It’s only ever a matter of minutes until the next round of leaf blowers goes online. Noise pollution, dust pollution, and pollution-pollution. Have fun cleaning the dirt. You realize we live in the desert, right?

The sooner science comes up with ears you can switch off the better. Also an anti light bulb that turns its area dark.

It’s actually called noise pollution, not “ear pollution”.
