    Odd choice to use Adele since I’m pretty sure just about everyone in the world thinks she’s God’s gift to music despite the fact that she sounds like a whiny, screaming banshee. But hey, as the strip says, who cares what I think? Not gonna stop me from saying it, though. ;)

    When I was in high school I was really into Sinatra. It had only been a few years since the Duets albums had topped the charts, and I don’t think there was a period when he wasn’t recognized as cool in his way. But I was very out of step with the pop music scene of the times.

    One day a classmate asked what I had in my CD player and took the liberty of popping the top to see for himself. He laughed at me a bit and I just kind of sat there and took it. After that, whenever people asked me what music I liked I was much less likely to say the things I truly felt than I was to mumble the words of one who knelt.
