Be glad that it’s not a leap year.

Being not young, I want my months to last forever. I cry when I change the calander….sorry if it’s off subject, just had to pipe in

The reason is that Feb is in the middle of winter and people don’t mind losing 3 days in winter because they likely don’t opt for taking their summer vacation in the middle of winter.

Let’s cut it down to 20 days!

Because my seeds arrived yesterday, and even though I’ll plant a month early, I cant start them until the middle of March.

Just ask a Canadian.

There must be something happening in February you don’t like. Now, what could that be? There are a lot of great things going on: February thaw, Grand Hog Day, Valentines Day, and for some, a shorter month toward summer. Seems, OK, to me.

February’s not so bad – well, it’s better than January, anyhow. The days are starting to get longer, and spring is right around the corner.

Which brings up something I’ve been thinking about. Why is February so odd with only 28 days when all the others have 30 or 31. What’s the history here. I submit we could take one day from January and one from March and give them to February. It would be so much more rational. February would then be the same as the others, 30 days and 31 in a leap year. But yes, it does feel longer as it is.

Just be glad it isn’t 31 days long!

No one will ever convince me that February does not have 300 days in it.

The degree of difficulty of that question (usually about minus 5) is hard to comprehend.

I know…February seems to last forever.

Time seems to be accelerating because Entropy is accelerating.

Just think how the seasons would move if every month had 31 days…

January is the longest month- – February is always god sent.

12 months of 30 days each with a 5 day Holiday Week between Xmas and New Years would make more sense… but when has mankind ever done something just because it’s more sensible?

It is the shortest month of the year with long stretches of cold and the biggest heating bill for old stone castles.

I tell people when they ask how I’m doing, as I hobble along with my cane and with a smile, “I’m still above ground and when I’m below, I won’t gave a d*mn” ….. :)

So go hibernate like a bear. It will be April before you know it.

Yeah, Why don’t we have twelve months of exactly 30.44 days each? :) :) :)

I like February. All the best people were born in February, including me! I turn 64 tomorrow!

If anyone comes up with a good answer to Wiz’s question, please let the rest of us know…

All the months have 28 days. Blacks deserve a black history month, but why did they get the shortest month? It should be changed to January because that’s Martin Luther King Day, and it gives them more time.

It’s such a beastly month. 28 days, as a rule, are plenty.

It’s the long wait and anticipation of the Super Bowl, by the way my team won!

It’s because the weather sucks.

February has at least 40 days—but January has at least 55 if not 60.
