I would suggest the chaos was, as usual, caused only by the maga group. Note every vote by the Democrats for Jeffries was unanimous.

The only hold the MAGAts have on Kevin is that he has promised them stuff. Now, they will have to depend on him having the integrity to follow through. Good luck with that. He is actually in a strong position. He can appeal to the MAGAts or to more centralist Democrats in order to do whatever he wants done. I suspect that getting rid of the metal detectors was a bad move. It is going to be an interesting couple of years.
