   It’s a great honking mess. And I can’t think of any country that actually brought peace after hostilities that didn’t beat the crap out of each other first.

   Most of Israel is opposed to a one state solution because the Arab citizens would outnumber the immigrant Jews, and they’d be the ones getting threats in the Knesset, not giving them. (Yes, Arab Knesset members do get threats on the floor, look it up.) The “right of return” can’t ever happen if the West Bank is part of Israel, same reason, Arabs would then outnumber Jews and would vote. Unless of course you go “separate but equal”, AKA apartheid.

   Given all that, who do you negotiate with? Neither side is acting in good faith. At least the Arabs are up front about it.

   It does start getting ridiculous when you look at the numbers for mass shootings. (No single injury or killings.)

   4 killed 5 injured on Monday

   1 killed 3 injured on Sunday

   2 killed 7 injured on Saturday (in Memphis, near me)

   And just on and on.

   In 1929, seven men were killed at a garage at 2122 North Clark St., on Chicago’s North Side.

   This caused a national uproar. We seem to have become inured to murder.

   I should eat the old birds, but I don’t, so I have about 14 or 15 full grown hens right now, but several aren’t laying very often. And several more young pullets who haven’t started laying yet.

   I do manage to keep my daughter in town generally supplies as well as my household.

   Someone is sure to say something about UAE or Kuwait, which are teeny places. But they are constantly arresting people for sending money or arms to terrorists, or exiling them for directly travelling to places where they can be terrorists for a day.

   So they suck too, just not as much because they aren’t that large.

   In all honesty, Bahrain is probably the best of them, and when the Shia demanded equal rights, what did they do? Asked a foreign entity to suppress them FOR them, so the Saudi’s rolled in (and over) the minority citizens of Bahrain with tanks. That sucks. And is very much like China not long ago, but we dare not condemn Bahrain, oh no. And they suck.

   Google “Saudi–led intervention in Bahrain” if you care.

    I spent enough time in the Middle East to figure something out – ALL the sides over there suck. All of them deserve condemnation. There simply are no good guys, none, zip, zero, nada.

    Some claim Israel sucks less than others, but it still sucks. EVERYONE in the Middle East commits acts of terrorism.

    And that is why I refuse to support any of them. They’re all terrorists and they all suck.
