This reminds me of something hilarious that happened many years ago. I knew a man who was a cat hater. Once he ordered me to go outside with him, I wondered why. Got to his car and he pointed at the hood where some cat had walked over it, leaving their paw prints behind. He was so mad! I laughed and laughed. Then he expected me to clean it off. I said why should I clean it off? Because you like cats! Well it wasn’t my cat, my cats were all indoor kitties.
Why is he still driving a ’53 or ’54 Studebaker, which was never more than basic transportation? A T-bucket with a hot drive train would be a lot more fun. If you have to isolate, you could do it quickly.

Forget it Earl, cats don’t care where they sleep. On special made beds, couches, chairs, beds, the floor right next to the bathroom especially when you have to go at 3:00 am and forget your glasses….
I could and did lift the hood of all of dad’s Studebakers, name every part under that hood and could repair or replace them all by age 13. At age 17 I inherited a Studebaker Lark Daytona; great fun at the local drive in…I still miss both it and Pamela Crocker.
1951 Studebaker by the shape of the grill. I had a friend in H S that had one and he put a set of Bull Horns on the hood, Hey it was 1963 or 64 and what did we know about Gauche.
The paw prints on Earl’s hood reminded me of a neighbor who complained of a cat leaving big, muddy paw prints on his new car. He discovered it wasn’t one of the neighborhood kitties, but a very large Florida bobcat!

No Earl you’re not getting even. Because unlike you Muffin doesn’t care.

who’s to say those were Muffin’s paw prints and not those of some other cat?

How does he know which cat did it? Paw prints add character to a car.

Earl is wasting his time. The cat won’t understand why Earl is stomping on the bed.

Our daughter’s cat that took over our house used to jump up on the hood when I came home from work and look through the window at me.

Welcome to all the “Covid newbies”. We can tell by all the attention given to Earls “Studie”. The “regulars” are accustomed to it.

He’s lucky. I knew someone who one morning found three wild turkeys asleep on top of his car.

At first, I thought that was the cats litter box.
